Sugar came to Rainbow Connection Farm after being rescued from a kill situation.

She is blind in one eye and had also suffered an injury to her leg. Before coming to the farm, that injury had been made worse by being ridden while she was lame.

At Rainbow Connection Farm, Sugar was finally given something her body needed: time to heal.

Her leg has healed, and today Sugar is safe and happy. She doesn't have to carry anyone, work through pain, or prove what she can do. She gets to spend her days in the pasture, enjoying her companions and simply being a horse.

Sugar's worth was never determined by what her body could do for someone else.
