Meet Sophie.

Sophie is a red merle Australian Shepherd who was supposed to be a herding dog.

There was just one small problem: she failed her herding test as a puppy.

Sophie may not have had much interest in becoming an official working dog, but she eventually found a herd of her own at Rainbow Connection Farm.

Today, Sophie is the mama of the farm. Pigs, horses, chickens, ducks, cats, dogs—Sophie considers all of them part of one big family, and she takes her job seriously. She watches over everyone, keeps an eye on what's happening, and does her best to make sure the whole crew stays in line.

It turns out Sophie didn't fail at herding. She just needed a slightly more unusual herd.
