Meet Pumpkin.

Pumpkin is a Kunekune pig who came to Rainbow Connection Farm with his mom after their owner passed away.

Their future had suddenly become uncertain, and butchers were coming to take them. Instead, Pumpkin and his mom were rescued and brought to the farm, where they could stay together and have a safe place to call home.

Pumpkin was also born with a birth defect that affects his feet. He moves through the world a little differently, but here he doesn't have to be anything other than exactly who he is.

Today, Pumpkin gets to spend his days rooting, resting, exploring, and enjoying life alongside his family.

His story is a reminder that a body that works differently doesn't make a life less valuable.
