Piglet's journey to Rainbow Connection Farm began with one extraordinary leap.
She had just been weaned and was being transported on a factory-farm truck when she jumped from the truck, ran across a busy highway, and made her way into the parking lot of a feed store.
That's where we found her.
We scooped up one very small, very determined piglet and brought her home to Rainbow Connection Farm. What began as an unexpected escape became the beginning of a completely different life.
Today, Piglet is safe at the sanctuary, where she gets to grow, explore, root around, rest, and simply be a pig.
